Our Classes

We offer a wide range of classes that are suitable for beginner and advanced levels
Shoulder Opening

Stress, tension, poor posture and incorrect alignment from long hours at work hunched over the computer or injuries can cause stiff and tight shoulders leading to discomfort and pain. Shoulder opening classes can help relieve tightness and increase the range of motion by stretching and strengthening the muscles, tendons and ligaments around the shoulder joints. This brings the body back into balance and better health.
Hip Opening

Long hours of sitting at the desk or doing sports like running and cycling can tighten the hips. As the hips and pelvis connect the upper and lower parts of the body, hip tightness causes the spine to be overused and this may lead to lower back pain and spine misalignments. This class will work on increasing flexibility in the quadriceps and hip flexors, hamstrings, glutes, groin and the pelvis. When the hips are open, this allows for greater range of motion, better circulation and support for the muscles of the spine. It will also improve balance, posture and prevent injuries in later life. Students will also have a chance to work on various postures and learn how improved hip flexibility can help them perform these poses with greater ease.
Back Bend

Backbends are invigorating and energise the body acting as natural a ‘anti depressant’. Heart opening poses stretch and expand the chest inducing deeper breathing and a feeling of wellness. This class will work on preparing the body for a safer practice in backbending stressing the lengthening and use of the whole spine in particular the upper and middle back. Poses will work on building flexibility and strength in the spine, shoulders, chest, pelvis and hip flexors. Students will be taught the correct technique in approaching various basic and advanced backbending postures.
Hatha Yoga

Hatha yoga can expect an accommodating practice full of static postures, mindful breathwork and a manageable pace. This practice allows for a greater focus on alignment and breathing, making the practice accessible to student of all levels, especially beginners.
Yoga Basic

In this class the basic, foundational yoga postures are practiced to align, strengthen and promote flexibility in the body. … Full-body relaxation and balance are the goals, as we make a full circuit of the body’s range of motion with standing postures, twists, backbends, forward folds, and hip openers.

Arm Balance

Arm balance focuses on flowing sequences that work on your upper body and arm strength to find steadiness on your arms. Wish to learn Arm Balance poses with proper guidance? We will guide you on how you could make your arm balance poses easy and more steady with patience and awareness. Classes are suitable for all levels to develop strength in arms and upper limbs/body. You will learn how to trust your arms and fingers to find good balance in the poses with confidence.
Yoga Stretch

Yoga Stretch is an active stretching class that targets primary muscle groups surrounding the hips, hamstrings and upper back. Living in a forward facing, seated world, these areas tend to be tight for everyone. Tight muscles can cause imbalance and pull the body out of alignment.

Vinyasa yoga places focus on flowing sequences that move through poses with awareness of breathing. In this class you will stretch, strengthen your whole body unique flow. Class is available for all levels. There will be demonstrations and instructions with variations of all poses.

This is a deep stretch class designed to lengthen and strengthen muscles and ligaments in the lower body, increasing flexibility and range of motion to help you achieve a better line for a flat or oversplit and middle splits in a safe manner. It is also beneficial for anyone who wants to unlock tight hamstrings and hip muscles. This class is open to all levels of flexibility and the stretches will be adaptable for different levels.
Yoga Twist

Twisting actions stimulate the blood circulation and release tension in the muscles of the abdomen. When you do a Yoga twist, it creates an intra-abdominal compression and spine, and the digestive organs will experience fresh blood flow rich in oxygen and nutrients. It’s very helpful for back bend practitioners.

Inversions can be safely practiced by all and can bring health and healing to the body with awareness and proper guidance. Like many other postures in yoga, inversions can help you break out of your comfort zone and shake things up a bit. An inversion is generally considered as any asana, or posture, that places the head below the heart and also when your hip higher than your shoulder called inversion pose.
Yin Yoga

The class comprises long-held passive poses using minimal muscular effort so as to access the deep connective tissues like the fascia, ligaments, joints and bones. When the connective tissues around the joints are underused this causes pain and limits mobility. Yin yoga improves flexibility and circulation, stimulates energy flow along the meridians and enhances organ function. Practising it regularly calms the body and reduces the heart rate making it a great stress reliever. It also helps prepare the mind and body for meditation.
Core & Balance

Incorporating core training in your yoga practice will not only improve your poses and your transitioning between body postures, but it will also alleviate back pain, increase your inner strength, improve your posture, allow for better flexibility, and ensure that you stay balanced while doing advanced yoga postures
Kids Yoga

Yoga philosophy teaches present moment awareness and how to stay calm and positive because when our mind is thinking about the past or future, we are missing the most valuable now. When children are engaged, focused, having fun, and following a yoga lesson, they are in the present moment. As well, a good children’s yoga teacher will redirect kids and teach them about this valuable tool and ethics so they can carry it throughout their life.
Let your children practice yoga to help them become mentally and physically strong.
